“The Palace of Eternal Youth” 唐明皇與楊貴妃

Yang Yuhuan, later to become Yang Guifei was one of the few women whose beauty has caused the downfall of monarchs and nations. She was one of the most beautiful women in Chinese history. The 18-year-old Yang Yuhuan was the concubine of one of Emperor Xuanzong’s many sons. Amidst protestations from his son, Xuanzong took Yang to be his own concubine and renamed her Yang Guifei (high-ranked imperial concubine).

Come to our show on May 27th, 2012 (Sunday), at the Norman Rothstein Theatre in Vancouver, at 1:00 p.m., to learn more about the fascinating love story of Lady Yang and Emperor Xuanzong.
