Mr. Cheng is a martial artist and has great interest in Cantonese Opera at his young age. Beginning to participate in Cantonese Opera performance in 1993, Paul has since been involved in the presentation and production of over 150 performances in Vancouver, B.C. He has special talent in designing and manufacturing sets and props on stage made him a sought-after specialist for almost every Cantonese performance. From stage performance to stage lighting, stage sound and stage managing, all indicated that he has complete knowledge of back stage operation in Chinese opera production. His knowledge and special talent enables Vancouver Cantonese Opera to grow stronger every day.
