Jacky Lam was initially trained in the Guangzhou Cantonese Opera Troupe in his youth and became skilled in all aspects of the opera performance techniques. Since his immigration to Vancouver, he has never forgotten his artistic roots. In recent years, through the encouragement of friends and expert tuitions from opera teachers, he has been able to retrace his artistic footsteps and has gained invaluable stage experience and recognition performing in Vancouver, Calgary and Malaysia. He intends to continue working towards a higher level in the future.
